Our kaimahi (team)
Kia hauora (be healthy) and kia hono (be connected), and respect the balance that can be achieved in all of us.
With mountain ranges, dense bush, rugged costal expanses, our kaimahi (team) experience some of the beautiful ecosystems in Aotearoa New Zealand.
In order to ensure the purity of our honey, our beekeepers follow a hive management system matched to the local conditions. Careful planning and attention to detail ensures optimal placement of hives and optimal bee health throughout the year. From the materials and foundations of the beehive to feeding and protection from pests and disease - every detail is carefully considered, planned and monitored. We do not use any antibiotics in our apiary and participate in New Zealand Pesticides Residue Monitoring Programme administrated by New Zealand Ministry for Primary Industries.
We deliver care throughout the seasons to guarantee wholesomeness.
We take great pride and care to ensure bee health and wellbeing is excellent so we can harvest the the manuka essence in the purist way.
